Félix de Latassa y Ortín (1733-1805) studierte seit 1749 Theologie und Philosophie an der Universität von Zaragoza, 1762 erlangte er den Doktor der Theologie. Sein größtes Werk sind die Bibliotecas antigua y nueva de escritores aragoneses, die er zu Lebzeiten nicht vollenden konnte. Es handelt sich bei diesem Verzeichnis um einen biographisch-bibliographischen Index der aragonesischen Autoren des Mittelalters. Dank dem spanischen Archivar Miguel Gómez y Uriel erschien das dreibändige Werk in den Jahren 1884 bis 1886, der die Ergebnisse Latassas zusammenstellte und ergänzte. Dieses bedeutende bibliographische Referenzwerk liegt nun erstmals vollständig als Reprint vor.

Félix de Latassa y Ortín (1733-1805) began his studies of theology and philosophy at the University of Saragossa in 1749. In 1762 he gained his doctorate in theology. His major work, left unfinished at his death, is the Bibliotecas antigua y nueva de escritores aragoneses, a bio-bibliographical index of mediaeval Aragonese authors. Between 1884 and 1886 the Spanish archivist Miguel Gómez y Uriel published a 3-volume edition, collating and augmenting Latassa’s work. A complete reprint of this important bibliographical reference work is now available for the first time.
